ACE Waterline Upgrade Project Complete
Alberta Central East Water Corporation (ACE) has completed its waterline upgrade project.
As of October 2, 2026, the Beauvallon and Derwent tank loaders are back in full operation, and customers can once again use both stations for their water needs.
Thank you to everyone who made other arrangements during the closure. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Bridge Construction/Culvert Replacement - TWP 562
Construction along Township Road 562 is underway starting this week, with the first project being west of Range Road 142. Construction on the bridge east of Range Road 151 is expected to begin September 8th.
During the construction period, the affected sections of Township Road 562 will have some temporary restrictions in place:
- The section of road along Township Road 562, from Range Road 142 to Range Road 143, will only be open to local traffic until construction is complete
- The section of road along Township Road 562, from Range Road 150 to Range Road 151, will only be open to local traffic from approximately September 8th until construction is complete
Update: September 21, 2026
Construction has been completed on the bridge east of Willingdon (between RR150–151 on TWP 562).
Additionally, four more birdges will be under construction/repair in the coming weeks; please watch out for construction throughout the County and be prepared for delays. Bridges under construction may only have one lane of traffic open to the public.
Road Closure Notice - July 3, 2026
Please be advised that due to the deteriorating road conditions and flooding caused by heavy rain, the following roads are temporarily closed:
- RGE RD 64 between TWP 540 & TWP 535 (Division 1)
- RGE RD 70 North of TWP 540 (Division 1)
Motorists are advised to obey all posted signage and plan alternate routes.
