The next Municipal Election will be held on October 20, 2025
Elections will be held for the five (5) Councillor positions, one from each of the five (5) electoral divisions. The Chief Elected Official (otherwise known as the Reeve) is elected from amongst its members at the annual Organizational Meeting.
Elections will be conducted in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act and other applicable municipal bylaws and policies.

97(1) The returning officer may publish unofficial results of the counting of ballots after an election as the results are received from voting stations.
(2) The returning officer shall, at 12 noon on the 4th day after election day, at the office of each local jurisdiction for which an election was held,
(a) announce or cause to be announced, or
(b) post or cause to be posted
a statement of the results of the voting for candidates, including a declaration that the candidate receiving the highest number of votes for each office to be filled is elected.

Important Dates
January 1, 2025 – First Day of Nomination Period
Note: County Offices will open beginning January 2, 2025, to accept nomination papers.
The nomination period runs from January 1, 2025, to September 22, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
Candidates can file nomination papers anytime during the nomination period with the Returning Officer during office hours.
September 22, 2025 – Nomination Day
Nomination papers must be filed by 12:00 p.m. at the County office on Monday, September 22, 2025, for receipt of nomination papers.
