**NOTICE**

Effective 3:30 P.M., FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 2025, The County of Two Hills has upgraded to a FIRE BAN. 

Under the FIRE BAN, no permits will be issued until a significant amount of precipitation is received.

ALL OPEN FLAME FIRES MUST BE EXTINGUISHED IMMEDIATELY

NOT Allowed:

• Back yard fire pits
• Fires of all kinds in backcountry and random camping areas.
• Burn barrels
• Fireworks
• Open flame fires
• Fires using charcoal briquettes
• Turkey fryers
• Tiki torches
• Large-scale controlled burns for agricultural purposes, including large brush piles, stubble and unharvested crops

Allowed With Extreme Caution!

• Portable propane fire pits, gas or propane stoves and BBQs that are designated for cooking or heating.
• OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLES!

Please monitor www.albertafirebans.ca daily for any updates or changes.

Burning or lighting a fire during a Fire Ban is illegal, and fines or cost of response could apply. A person who willfully sets an open fire, or any fire not allowed under this order, may result in fines. If the person is the owner or occupant of the land on which the fire is set, those costs may be recovered by placing the costs on the tax roll and recovering them in the same manner as taxes.
