As of April 25, 2024:
Due to the dry conditions, The County of Two Hills has issued a Fire Ban to be in place till further notice. Any open flame fire is not allowed throughout the County.
THIS MEANS:
- No camp fires or warming fires are allowed.
- The use of burning barrels or burn pits are not allowed.
- The use of a propane or natural gas barbeque are allowed, but should be supervised while in use.
- NO charcoal grills or barbeques are allowed.
- No setting off of fireworks anywhere within the county.
- Use of ATV's and UTV's must be used with caution in grass areas as the exhaust systems can start a fire very easily.
- Any one found to be in violation may be subject to fines and costs of extinguishing of a fire.
